Help us build StarPocket. Only the author can read your application.

Please log in to apply. You can use that account to view your application and replies.

You must be at least 16 to apply.

This is voluntary work (there is no pay).

There is a brief review and an interview after you apply.

Only the author reads your application. It is used for review, interviews, registering your work and contacting you.

Applications that are not selected or are withdrawn are deleted 90 days after that decision. Approved applications are kept while you help and for one year after you leave.

Before a decision, an application is automatically withdrawn after 90 days without an application, status change or reply from either side. New activity restarts the count.

Incorrect quiz attempt counts are kept for 90 days after your last answer, even if you do not apply.

Only the author translates applications. Translation covers availability, the message, the applicant's replies and the author's drafts. Age band, roles and language choices are not sent for translation.

The author replies in Japanese. For translation, possible contact details and reference numbers (email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, IDs, request numbers and so on) are masked before text is sent to the paid service (API Pro) from DeepL SE in Germany. Names and other parts that cannot be masked are sent as they are. Japan recognises the EU as having a level of personal information protection equivalent to Japan's. According to DeepL's published information, text sent to API Pro is neither stored nor used for training. This server does not save translations (text sent as a reply is kept as a normal reply).
