Reporting bugs

Making the report zip (launcher)

Right after the problem happens, press “Create report zip” in the launcher (the log is overwritten every time the game starts). PocketRoles-report-<date>.zip is created on your Desktop.
Press “Open mail (bug)” to open your mail app with the subject filled in. With webmail, send it to [email protected] yourself.
Attach the zip and describe what happened, when (lobby / match / meeting), how many players were in the room, and what the other players saw.

Requirements

Only Windows + the Steam version can host. Players install nothing and can join from PC, phone or Switch.

Updating, and when Among Us updates

Install new mod releases with “Check for updates” in the launcher. PocketRoles supports Among Us 2026.9.29 (64-bit) from v0.5.6. Right after an Among Us update, the mod turns itself off until a compatible release is out.

How to uninstall PocketRoles

There’s no uninstaller, and it doesn’t appear under Windows “Apps”. Close the game and Aegis, then delete seven places in order. You don’t need to delete Steam’s Among Us.

Room restrictions (Aegis)

Room restrictions & appeals

In PocketRoles rooms, a player with a recorded rule violation can be kept out (a room restriction; the system is called Aegis). It is not a ban on your Among Us account, and rooms that don’t use PocketRoles work as usual.
