Accepting requests by form

Having trouble with PocketRoles or StarPocket? Here you'll find the right contact for each kind of request (Discord, email, GitHub) and a form you can use without Discord or email. When you send the form you get a receipt number, and replies appear on that receipt's page.

What you can do with a StarPocket account today

Today an account lets you log in (Discord or an email code), see the name you’re signed in as, link Discord to an account made with email, and log out. You can use the software and contact support without one.

What this site keeps (contact, login and the room list)

The contact, room list and login pages run on a small PC at the author’s home. IP addresses are not stored. Inquiries are deleted 30 days after they’re closed.

Having your records erased (/cmd id)

Send the code you get from /cmd id in a room’s chat to the author once. You don’t need to ask any host: the PCs of hosts on PocketRoles v0.5.5 or later erase it by themselves (some things stay).

Send through the form

If you don't use Discord or email, you can send from here. You'll get a receipt number, and replies appear on that receipt's page.

You can leave this empty. If you enter an address, we'll email it when we receive your inquiry and when there's a reply (the emails don't include your subject, message or the reply itself; replies are read on the receipt page on this site).

PocketRoles version, Among Us version, error codes and so on, as far as you know.

If you leave this unchecked, the author writes the reply themselves.

The author replies in Japanese. For translation, possible contact details and reference numbers (email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, IDs, request numbers and so on) are masked before text is sent to the paid service (API Pro) from DeepL SE in Germany. Names and other parts that cannot be masked are sent as they are. Japan recognises the EU as having a level of personal information protection equivalent to Japan's. According to DeepL's published information, text sent to API Pro is neither stored nor used for training. This server does not save translations (text sent as a reply is kept as a normal reply).

You can submit without checking this box. You can withdraw consent on the receipt page. After withdrawal, you cannot consent again for the same request.

What we store

We store the category, subject, message, the reply-to email (only if you entered one), the game info, and whether you ticked “The author may use AI to draft the reply”. The reply-to email is used only for the notices sent when we receive your inquiry and when there's a reply (the emails don't include your subject, message or the reply itself; we send at most 3 receipt notices to one address per day, and to count them we keep a marker derived from the address that can't be turned back into it, which is removed from the server's database after one day). If you send while signed in, we store the request linked to your account and show it under “Your requests”. If you choose “Also tell me by Discord DM when there's a reply”, we store that choice, and when there's a reply the StarPocket bot sends your Discord account only “there's a reply”, the receipt number and a link to read it (records of whether it was sent are deleted after 90 days). Raw IP addresses are not stored (only a marker derived from the IP that cannot be turned back into it, used to prevent spamming; it is removed from the server's database after one day, and after the server restarts it can no longer be matched to any IP). Closed inquiries are deleted after a while.
