If you think it’s a mistake (how to appeal)
You can also use this site’s form
Use Appeal a room restriction to choose “I think the room restriction was a mistake”, “Please erase my records” or “I want to report something about a host”. Appeals saying the room restriction was a mistake are read by the author and the Room Access Team members the author chooses; requests to erase records and reports about a host are read only by the author. Only the author decides whether to reply and whether to lift a room restriction. Include the date and time, room code, evidence number AEG-…, code from /cmd id and what happened as far as you know. You can send it without the numbers or codes. Use your in-game name, not your real name. Replies appear on the receipt page. Requests on this site are deleted 30 days after they are marked resolved. This is separate from how long game records stay on a host’s PC. You can still use Discord and email. Send report zips and evidence zips by email, rather than attaching them to this site’s form.
Where to send it (pick one)
- Discord: in the PocketRoles Discord (“PocketRoles 役職部屋”), open a ticket in the “🛡️|異議申し立て” (appeals) channel. Only you and the Aegis team can see the ticket. Please don’t post in public channels or send DMs. Open Discord
- Email: can’t use Discord (for example from China)? Email pocketroles.report+[email protected] with “appeal” in the subject.
- This site’s form: on Contact, choose the category “Appeal a room restriction”. You get a receipt number, and replies appear on the receipt page.
Japanese, Chinese or English are all fine. A reply can take a few days.
Please include
- The name you used when you were banned
- The date, time, room code and the host’s name (as far as you know)
- Your friend code (like name#1234; it’s on the Friends screen in Among Us)
- Why you think it’s a mistake (what you were doing at the time)
- If you have it: the code from
/cmd id(16 letters). If you don’t have it, that’s fine. Without it the author finds the record from your friend code, name, date and room code.
Please don’t write your real name.
Write the “Your code” shown on screen (16 letters) and your in-game name. In this case you don’t need your friend code (B-91).
Please appeal early
- One appeal per ban.
- Evidence records stay on the host’s PC for 90 days (they aren’t deleted while the ban lasts, and they stay 30 more days after it ends). Once they’re gone, it can only be checked if the author already holds the record.
- If the record of that ban is only on the PC of the host who made it, the author asks that host to send only your records. You don’t need to find the host.
Your friend code and what you write
Your friend code is only used to match the record. The match is done inside the ban manager, as a hash, and the app doesn’t keep it. But what you write in the ticket or email (friend code included) stays in the Discord ticket and in the developer’s mailbox. To have it deleted once there’s a decision, say so in the same ticket or email.
About the reply
Even if it doesn’t match the record, we reply with the result. We can only tell you what the record says once we’ve confirmed it is yours. How it’s decided: How it’s decided.
Also handled here
- If you only want your records erased (subject “erase my records”; Having your records deleted)
- If a host keeps banning you for no reason
What we can’t handle here
Official Among Us bans can’t be lifted here. Those are Innersloth’s decision.
