Reading replies (your receipt page)
After you send
When you send the form on Contact, you get a receipt number (like SP-2026-0923-0001) and a URL.
- Save the URL (bookmark it or write it down). Replies appear on that page. If you sent it without signing in, losing the URL means you can’t see the follow-up.
- If you sent it while signed in, it is also listed under Your requests. Even if you lose the URL, you can open it from there after signing in.
- If you entered a reply-to email address, we send a receipt notice to it (only the receipt number; your subject and message are not included; at most 3 per address per day). We also notify you when there’s a reply (the reply itself is not included; not sent if the author turns off “notify by email too”). If you didn’t enter one, no email is sent.
Reading the reply
- Open the URL you got when you sent it.
- If you don’t have the URL, use Check an inquiry with the receipt number and the key (the long text at the end of the URL).
- Requests you sent while signed in can be opened from Your requests without the receipt number or key.
- If it says the receipt number or key is wrong or the inquiry has been deleted, check both.
Status
- Received (waiting for a reply): no reply yet. A reply can take a few days.
- Answered: the author has replied.
- Resolved: the inquiry has been closed.
Adding a reply
Use “Add a reply” on the receipt page to send anything else.
- For 48 hours after it’s marked resolved, you can still reply there, and it opens again.
- After 48 hours, please send a new inquiry.
Good to know
- You can send up to 3 inquiries every 5 minutes.
- Closed inquiries are deleted 30 days after they’re closed (What this site keeps).
- JavaScript is needed to send the form.
