How to send a bug report (report zip)

Hosts: send a report zip
- Right after the problem happens, press “Create report zip” in the launcher (the log is overwritten every time the game starts, so do it soon).
PocketRoles-report-DATE.zipis created on your Desktop. - In the dialog, press “Open mail (bug)” to open your mail app with the subject filled in. If you use webmail, send it to [email protected] yourself.
- Attach the zip and describe what happened, when (lobby / match / meeting), how many players were in the room, and what the other players saw.
Don’t post report zips in public places such as GitHub Issues. They contain records such as other players’ names.
What’s in a report zip
- Included: the current log, the launcher’s state and log, the last 3 logs (up to 8 MB each), evidence records (last 90 days, newest first, up to 200 files / 5 MB), system.txt (Windows, language, game / mod / BepInEx versions and so on)
- Not included: deepl-key, report-mail, passwords and *.key files. Settings files (*.cfg) aren’t included either.
- Masked: API keys in text, your user folder path, Discord webhook URLs, anything shaped like a PUID or friend code in the logs, and the codes used to erase records
- Logs do contain player names and room codes.
The zip is made only when you press “Create report zip”, and it’s never sent automatically. Whether to send it is the host’s choice. The launcher deletes zips after 30 days.
Players and other ways
- Players: write the date and time, the room code and what happened, and send it by email or through Contact on this site.
- With a GitHub account you can also use GitHub Issues (a public place).
- Feature requests go to pocketroles.report+[email protected].
Using the form on this site
Choose “Bug report” as the category. When you send it you get a receipt number (like SP-2026-0923-0001) and a URL; replies appear on that page (Your receipt page). The form can’t take attachments, so send the zip by email. If the support server is down (N-11), use email or a Discord ticket.
Found a security weakness?
Don’t post it in a public Issue or channel. Email pocketroles.report+[email protected] with “[PocketRoles] security” in the subject. Don’t send DeepL keys, webhook URLs or passwords.
