If you can’t log in

The email code doesn’t arrive or doesn’t work

• It doesn’t arrive: check your spam folder too. You can send one code per minute to the same address (you’ll see “Please wait N more seconds”).
• “Too many codes were sent to this email address. Please try again in about an hour.” → wait about an hour.
• “That doesn't look like a valid email address.” → check the address.
• “The code is 6 digits.” → enter only the 6 digits.
• “That code is wrong. N attempts left.” → use the code from the newest email.
• “Too many wrong attempts, so that code no longer works.” → press “Send again” for a new code.
• “There is no active code. Please send a code first.” → the code expired or hasn’t been sent yet. Send a new one.
• “The bot check failed. Please reload the page and try again.” → reload, or try another browser (N-12).
• “This page needs JavaScript.” → turn on JavaScript in your browser settings.

Discord login fails

• “The Discord login was cancelled.” → this appears if you didn’t allow it on Discord’s screen. Start again from the login page.
• “The check expired or the return didn't work.” → start again from the login page.
• “Couldn't talk to Discord.” → try again in a little while.
• “"Log in with Discord" isn't ready yet.” → please use the email login.

Messages after pressing “Link Discord” on the account page:

• “This Discord is already used by another StarPocket account” → for example, an account created when you logged in with this Discord before. There’s no way to merge two accounts into one. Use Discord for that account and an email code for this one. If you’re stuck, let us know through support.
• “This account already has Discord linked.” → there’s no way to unlink it yet.
• “This Discord can't be linked to this account.” → this Discord and this account can’t be linked together.
• “It's been more than 30 minutes since you signed in, so Discord wasn't linked.” → for safety, you can link only within 30 minutes of signing in with an email code. Log out, sign in again with an email code, then press the button.
• “The sign-in methods for this account can't be changed.” (shown instead of the button) → this account’s sign-in methods can’t be changed on this page.
• “Linking Discord was cancelled.” or “The check expired or the return didn't work.” → press “Link Discord” again.

If you get a “Discord was linked” email you don’t recognize, someone else may have linked their Discord to your account. Tell us through Contact under “Account”, including the time shown in the email. If you sign in with an email code before sending it, we can confirm it’s your account faster. There’s no way to unlink Discord yourself yet, so we’ll unlink it for you. When we do, we also sign that account out everywhere (so nobody else stays signed in); sign in again with an email code. Also check that you haven’t shared an email sign-in code with anyone, and that nobody else knows your email password.

If Discord doesn’t work, you can log in with an email code instead. If you made the account with email and linked Discord, that opens the same account. Email can’t be added to an account made with Discord yet, so an email code opens a separate account (you won’t see the old account’s records).

Other messages

• “Too many requests. Please wait a moment and try again.” → wait a little.
• “This account is restricted right now.” → the account’s features are stopped (S-15). You can still contact support without an account.
