Uninstalling StarPocket Client

Steps

1. Open StarPocket Client’s settings and press “Uninstall”.
2. You’ll see “Uninstall StarPocket Client?”. To remove the mod’s copy of the game as well, tick “Remove the mod's copy of the game as well” (it is kept by default).
3. Press “Uninstall”. The files go once the window has closed.

You can also uninstall from a command line: "<exe>" --uninstall (add --quiet to skip the questions: --uninstall --quiet).

What goes and what stays

• Removed: the app’s settings and records, the shortcuts the app made, and the “start with Windows” setting.
• Removed only if you tick the box: the mod’s copy of the game (about 1 GB, with your settings and records in it).
• Not removed: Steam and Steam’s Among Us, the Aegis records (the current launcher and tray use them), and the report zips on your Desktop (they go by themselves after 30 days).

The app folder stays

A running app can’t delete itself, so the app’s folder stays. Look at the location shown at the end and remove it by hand if you don’t want it.

If it can’t remove everything

• “StarPocket Client is running. Close it, then uninstall again.” → close the other StarPocket Client.
• “N item(s) could not be removed. Close the game and File Explorer, then try again.” → close them and try again.
• If the app’s own records folder can’t be removed, nothing else is touched (nothing is deleted). Please try again.
