Limits on using the Services (codes starting with S)
What can be stopped
Only these:
- S-11 not accepting your shared-ban requests
- S-12 stopping the key used to list rooms
- S-13 stopping you posting on the Discord server, removing you from it, or removing roles such as “Host”
- S-14 stopping part of the support chat (for now, this site’s contact form; the email contact still works)
- S-15 stopping the account’s features (you can still contact support without an account, and still ask us to show or delete your information)
- S-16 other features related to what happened
What we tell you
When we stop something, we tell you, in whatever way we can:
- the reason (which article of the Terms of Use or Play Rules)
- the length (as a guide: a warning → 7 days → 30 days → no end date; with an immediate danger it can be long from the start)
- the code
- how to appeal
If we have no way to tell you, it is shown on screen when you try to use that feature, in the form “Until (date) · Reason: (article) · Code S-xx”.
What is never stopped
- Using PocketRoles or playing Among Us. The StarPocket Client Play button is never stopped either.
- Not meeting the conditions for the host’s PC (R codes) is never, on its own, a reason for a limit.
- We cannot ban Among Us accounts, and we never use limits based on PC hardware numbers (hardware IDs).
- A shared ban (B-91) is separate from these limits (Restricted?).
If you disagree
You can appeal once per limit through support (for S-13, through the email contact). Staff look at it again based on the records that remain. When possible, a different staff member from the one who decided looks at it.
