Rules for hosts (don’t use bans to be mean)
What hosts do
- Follow Innersloth’s Terms of Use and Mod Policy. On the official servers, register the lobby (+25). Don’t make money from rooms or games.
- If the room has its own rules, show them with
/rules. - Don’t change Aegis records, report zips or “One player’s evidence” zips. Write only what is true in shared-ban requests.
- Don’t post records of people who joined (names, evidence, chat) on social media or other public places. Send report zips and “One player’s evidence” zips by email, never in public places.
- Don’t ask for a shared ban just because you dislike someone.
- If you use chat translation, understand that the chat of people in the room is sent to a translation company (Google or DeepL). Type
/opt translate offif you don’t want it. - Don’t say “Aegis protects this room” in a room where Aegis detection or shared bans are turned off.
Don’t use bans to be mean
Bans are for keeping rooms safe from cheating and trouble. Don’t use them to shut out people you just don’t like, or to keep re-banning a player the author cleared. Players can tell us about such a host through the appeal contacts.
If a host breaks them
- If a host used a cheat tool in a room, said a modified version was official, or broke these rules, we may stop some StarPocket Games services for them (Limits on using the Services). What we may stop: the room list, shared-ban requests, the “Host” role on Discord and so on.
- We stop them only with evidence, and only after we tell the host and hear their side.
- Not meeting the conditions for the host’s PC (R codes) is never, on its own, a reason to stop anything.
- Stopping a service never stops anyone using PocketRoles or playing Among Us, and never stops the StarPocket Client Play button.
When shared-ban requests turn out wrong
If a host’s shared-ban requests (reports) are found to be wrong on appeal 3 times within 30 days, we stop accepting their requests, even if they weren’t lies (S-11). Only reports that weren’t “Certain” detections count. Once there are fewer than 3 in the last 30 days, we accept requests again.
